Operate programs for at-risk children
Pura Vida runs programs for at-risk children in four neighborhoods of San Jose, Costa Rica through our partner organization FundaVida. These programs provide more than 500 children each year with nutritious meals, educational opportunity, confidence-building activities and personal relationships. We have nurtured physical health by serving over 50,000 nutritious meals and have provided educational opportunity by offering over 60,000 hours of computer classes. We have built confidence, character and strength of spirit through our sports program, arts and crafts, counseling, and Club Pura Vida.

Build future partnerships with nonprofits in coffee growing regions
Pura Vida will develop 2-3 deep partnerships with other nonprofits in coffee-growing countries over the next two years. We plan to support partners with financial resources, volunteers, and increased exposure through our customer and donor base.

Fundraising and rebate Programs
Pura Vida helps other non-profits raise money to fund their own projects through a variety of fundraising and rebate programs. We have generated over $150,000 in partner rebates and fundraising income for such organizations as World Relief, Episcopal Relief and Development, Boy Scouts of America and a host of local churches and non-profit agencies.
