Do I need a Visa?
American citizens do not need a visa for Guatemala. Others please check with your Consular office or Embassy.
Do I have to speak Spanish?
Knowledge of Spanish is helpful but not required. The team will travel with translators.
Can I extend my stay after the scheduled trip?
Yes, as long as you particpate on the scheduled dates you are free to stay longer afterwards.
What health issues should I think about relating to this trip?
People with serious health conditions should not participate in the trip as it will be physically strenuous at times and participants will not always be close to medical facilities. No shots are required for the trip; however, Hepatitis A shots are recommended.
What is the cost of the tour?
$1100-1400 (depending on trip selection)* Note: This does not include your airfare to and from country.
Price includes all transportation to country (except some meals during R&R), all lodging, on-field assistance and regular contact with leader(s) three months prior to departure.
